About Us

this is a pic taken in Pullman my freshman year.  the first time that i visited WSU i fell in love.  i wanted to only apply to WSU, but parents insisted i also applied to OSU.  ultimately, WSU wanted me more, and i wanted WSU more as well so that's where i ended up.  i lived in the freshman dorms with a randomly assigned roommate (randomly assigned roommates are something that i would highly recommend).
a picture taken at our high school when i was on summer break from WSU.  high school was moderately enjoyable, but i think that most people, looking back, are happy that it's over.  we both did sports in high school.  julie did soccer, basketball, and track, and i did cross country, basketball, and track.  one good thing about high school, is it's possible to be good at sports.
visiting the high school again during spring break.
blazer game.  we go to a lot of these and in fact, i think this might be the game where we got on the big screen and on the news.  we had made a sign that said "we believe" (well, we thought of it together and julie made the sign) during a period where the blazers were not doing very well. the most times i ever got on the big screen though, was a game when i was sitting next to a really cute little kid.
this is us at 80's night at Valhalla in Pullman.  it was a blast, but they don't have 80's night there anymore.  very tragic.  maybe i've grown out of my 80's night obsession.  what am i going to do with all those prom dresses?
an 80's night party in Corvallis.  was a master at beer pong that night and made the winning shot against a team that won like 25 games in a row.
post blazers game celebration at Henry's.
U of O graduation.  graduated in sports business.
summer vacation at our favorite place - Lincoln City beach.  this pic is on the other side of the "head" as we call it.  this is where we classically go for family vacations ever since we were little kids.  we are all about the rockhounding, which is just what it sounds like - hunting for rocks.
This is a picture capturing the moment of Michelle's first memory - when I was born.
One of many photoshoots of us being adorable.
Playing a board game together - it looks like Michelle might be explaining the rules to me while I'm making eyes with the camera.
Playing doctor at one of those kids play houses in the park.  Michelle clearly just found out that she has some incurable disease and I'm obviously uncomfortable about being the one who has to break the news.

We have been sisters since April 16, 1989.

this is my dog ellie.  when we were looking for a house, the only thing i really cared about was that it had a fenced yard because i was set on getting a puppy.  and a little over a month after moving into my house, that's exactly what i did.  actually, my parents bought her in portland and didn't tell me for a couple of days, because they were going to surprise me next time they came to porland, but later decided that they should give ellie to me as soon as possible.  we met at a starbucks in tri-cities and that was where i fell in love with her.
i heart pumpkins!  last year i was a zombie bride for Halloween.  i'm going with the classics from now on i decided.  the vet school throws an awesome Halloween party by the way.
at my 25th birthday.  at my favorite restaurant (Chevy's).  now that i'm a quarter of a century old, i'm pretty sure i still haven't figured very much out.
my cats Koby (left) and Addy (right).  they are 1 year and 2 & 1/2 years respectively.  i love cats, but i love dogs more.  the funny thing is, when i leave my animals with someone else, i always dream about my cats.
i really do love 80's night.  i think that i will have to move to a city that has an 80's night after i leave this town.
